Now to the God of compassion and mercy who by the power at work within us is able to do far more than we ask or thinkto God be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the compassionate love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

2 Corinthians 13:14 (adapted)

Leader: Our time of worship has come to a close, but our service never ends.

People: Dismiss us with your blessing, O God.

Leader: Go from this place as agents of God's reconciliation and as instruments of God's compassion.

People: We go, empowered by God's love.

Leader: Go, then, in the love of God, the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

All: Amen.

v v v v

For freedom Christ has set you free. Return to the world as persons set free to become whole!

v v v v

Leader: Christ has no body on earth but ours,

People: no hands but ours, no feet but ours.

Leader: Ours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion looks out upon the world,

People: Ours are the feet with which Christ is in the world.

Leader: Ours are the hands with which Christ blesses all people now.

People: Let us go from this place and be the Body of Christ in the world.*

and I will not send them

away hungry.
