Living in a state of shock

Planning for Long-Term Programs
International humanitarian agency Church World Service (CWS) reported today that its teams of mental health workers are continuing to offer one-on-one trauma counseling in Lamreung in the Baru Imara District of Indonesia's tsunami devastated Aceh region.

CWS Assists Tsunami Survivors
A team from Church World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan provided supplies and assessed continuing needs in Betticaloa last week, meeting with tsunami survivors in the camps, camp managers, and church leaders.

'We will still be there'
Urgently needed medical supplies left Interchurch Medical Assistance (IMA) for tsunami-wracked Indonesia Tuesday. The medicines will be in the hands of tsunami survivors in less than two days. Several WOC/IMA Medicine Boxes have been sent to Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the past. To aid in this latest emergency, newly assembled boxes will be going for tsunami relief.
